34:18<\/em><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">There are wounds in life that do not just break the heart ,they break the spirit.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Betrayal in marriage is one of them.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">As a counselor, I have sat across from women whose eyes carried a pain no words could fully explain. I have heard the trembling voices, seen the hands that fidget with their sleeves just to hold back the tears. When a wife is cheated on, something inside her shatters.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The trust she built with her whole heart, the belief that she was safe, the sacred bond she thought was protected, it all crashes to the ground in a single moment.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">And it&#8217;s not just about the physical act of cheating.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">It&#8217;s about the soul-piercing message it sends: You were not enough. You were replaceable. You were abandoned where you thought you were loved.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The Bible says,<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><em>&#8220;Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.&#8221; Proverbs 13:12<\/em><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">When betrayal happens, hope doesn&#8217;t just defer, it feels like it dies.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">And when hope dies, a woman doesn&#8217;t just grieve a man.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">She grieves her own sense of worth, her trust in love, her very sense of &#8220;was it ever real?&#8221;<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I have seen women question everything, not just about their husbands, but about themselves. Their beauty. Their value. Their wisdom. They wonder if they were foolish to ever believe that love would protect them.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Even when a husband apologizes, even when he falls on his knees and sobs in repentance ,the apology, as necessary as it is, does not heal everything.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I often tell my clients: An apology can acknowledge the injury. But a spirit crushed by betrayal struggles to rise again without divine intervention.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The debris of betrayal remains long after the confession.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Debris in the form of silent fears.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Debris in the form of sleepless nights where trust feels like a mountain too high to climb again.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Debris in the form of flashbacks, moments that replay like an uninvited film in the mind.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">And the enemy exploits this debris.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">He whispers in the night:<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;You are not loved. You are not chosen. You are not worth fighting for.&#8221;<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">And if you listen too long, these lies start to feel louder than the truth of God\u2019s Word.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">This is why spiritual warfare in this area demands that you don&#8217;t just fight your husband, you fight the lies of hell itself.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Because healing will not come primarily from the apology of a man.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Healing must come from the unchanging, faithful love of God.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">God speaks directly into this kind of soul-deep pain:<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.&#8221; Isaiah 49:16<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Even when others forget you, betray you, replace you, God never does.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">You are not disposable to Him.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">You are engraved.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Marked.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Held.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Loved.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">God knows betrayal firsthand.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Jesus Himself was betrayed by someone He called a friend, with a destroys emotional trust, making you question every word, every promise.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><strong>But what God rebuilds:<\/strong><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">He restores innocence, not by pretending evil did x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">-It demands a raw honesty with God.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">-It demands laying the bleeding pieces of your heart at His feet, without pretending you are less broken than you are.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.&#8221;\u00a0 Psalm 147:3<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">-Notice, He binds the wounds.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wounds that bleed.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wounds that ache in the quiet hours.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wounds that cannot be ignored.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The journey of healing for a wife who has been betrayed looks like this:<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Crying when needed, without guilt.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Taking your brokenness to the feet of Jesus every single day.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Allowing God to define your worth, not the betrayal.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Choosing forgiveness, not because the wound was small, but because you refuse to let Satan chain you to bitterness.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Letting God\u2019s truth speak louder than the enemy\u2019s lies.<\/div><\/div><div
